Enjoyable Piano Lessons

The lessons I teach are a great place to start if you want to take piano lessons from scratch or revisit playing after many years out.

Here at Piano Lessons York you will receive lessons that are tailored to your specific needs, playing style and musical preferences, and you will see improvement in your playing and musicianship, especially if you're willing to put the work in.

Most of all, I want my students to enjoy learning to play the piano and I will try my best to make this a reality for them.

My Lessons
Classical & Contemporary

I am an experienced teacher, covering a variety of styles including classical, jazz and popular music. I will make sure that I shape our lessons around your taste in music. Lessons are tailored to suit the pupil's aims, whether it's to progress through grades or simply learn for fun.

I am a qualified music teacher, having gained a 1st Class degree in Music from the University of York and would be delighted to use this knowledge to help you to learn to play the piano, whether you are a beginner or more advanced pianist.

Prices:
£18 per half hour
£30 per hour

Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.

My lessons are specially tailored around you as a student, meaning that no matter what your level or musical style that you would like to play I will shape a course of lessons to help you reach your personal goals. I offer both lessons for students looking to undertake grades, as well as tuition for those students who simply want to learn that piano for their own personal interests.

My lessons are charged at £18 per half hour and £30 per hour for all students.

I teach many of my piano students from my teaching space located in High Petergate, YO1 7EN, in central York.

I teach students of all ages (8+) in a wide range of styles and genres.

You can, but you don't have to! Grades can be a great way to progress students and give them the motivation to improve, however they're not for everyone. Lessons are tailored to the pupils aims meaning you get what you want to achieve out of the lessons.

I teach pupils of all ages, you're certainly never to old to learn as long as you put the effort in!
